Things to Do
1. Feed the Dolphins
Check out one of the three FREE dolphin feeding sessions. You may even be selected to feed them!
2. Aboriginal Cultural Walk
Discover how the local Malgana people have survived in Gathaagudu (Aboriginal name for Shark Bay, meaning ‘two waters’) for thousands of years. You'll learn the secrets of bush survival including bush tucker and bush medicine.
3. Camel Ride
Treat yourself to a relaxing tour of Monkey Mia on some of the gentlest camels you will meet, lead by Monkey Mia’s own camel whisperers – no experience necessary and caters for all ages.
4. Awe-stronomy (Astronomy)
A sensory adventure on the beach. Look into the vivid blaze of Monkey Mia's stunning night sky and you'll meet stars, planets, galaxies, constellations and incredibly, someone who descended from outer space – really!
5. The Shotover
Sail on the famous Shotover and see nature at its wild best! Come up close and personal on Monkey Mia's best wildlife sailing cruise. See dugongs, dolphins, turtles and much more
Things to See
1. Dolphins
Routinely dolphins visit the Monkey Mia beach.
2. Dolphin Feeding
Everyday between 8.00am and 1.00pm, four adult female dolphins and their babies swim to the beach to be fed. There is no charge to meet or feed the dolphins.
3. The Deserted Beaches
Shark Bay is Australia's largest bay. There is over a 1000 kilometres of pristine beach with calm, crystal water to enjoy.
4. Blowholes
Uniquely they are 100 metres above sea-level
5. Ocean Park
Home to turtles, sea-snakes, sharks, stingrays, stone-fish and Nemo
Relaxing or Exploring the Region

5. Driving You Wild Tours- Explore the picturesque Peron Peninsula, Eagle Bluff, Shell Beach and Stromolites in a luxurious stretch-limousine.
6. Tantalise Your Tastebuds- Join Monkey Mia locals at one of the town jetties for a feast of squid.
7. Wine and Dine- Experience the exquisite tastes of the Boughshed Resturant for fine food and cocktails.
8. BBQ- Have a barbeque with a nice cold beer at the Monkey Bar.
9. Sunbake- Catch some Western Australian sun-ray’s while you relax on the beach or grassed areas- with sun cream on of course!

16. Cape Peron National Park- This marine park is a must-see destination for all divers! Enjoy the best drift dive on the West Coast.
17. Ocean Park- Meet turtles, sea-snakes, sharks, stingrays, stone-fish and Nemo at this supreme Aquiculture Farm.
18. Learn- Find out some fascinating facts about the local wildlife at an evening talk by one of our animal behavioural research scientists.
19. Pretty Pearls- Visit the only accessible Black Pearl farm in Australia, the only one of its kind in Western Australia. This floating farm is open year round for all visitors.
20. Fly- Get an aerial view of masses of untouched nature in a spectacular scenic flight.
21. Drive Yourself- If you’re in Monkey Mia without a car, hire one and take a journey of your own!

22. Feed the Dolphins- Become a volunteer dolphin feeding helper.
23. Driving You Wild Tours- Take all-action, off-road, 4WD tour of Monkey Mia’s greatest natural landscapes. Explore in just hours, wild tracks, sand dunes and scrublands that took locals 10 years to find!
24. Didgeridoo Dreaming- Aboriginal night-time adventure along the Peron Walk Trail.
25. Snuba-Dive- Learn how to Snuba-Dive in the pristine waters of Monkey Mia
26. Tiger Shark Cruise- Watch seasonal Tiger Shark tagging on a cruise.
27. Fishing Charters- Get some professional help to catch that fish! Several charters operate within Monkey Mia and make for a perfect day out at sea, a great feast too!
28. Bushwalk- Explore the rugged terrain surrounding Monkey Mia! But be sure to pack sun-cream and plenty of water.
Leisure Time
29. Swim- Go for a dip in a Monkey Mia beach and if you’re lucky, a dolphin may be swimming nearby!
30. Kayaks and Paddle Boats- Glide across Monkey Mia’s stunning waters and get fit at the same time (equipment available for hire).
31. Glass-Bottomed Boats- See what’s happening under the sea without even getting wet!
32. Snorkelling- Find out what treasures lay beneath the surface of Monkey Mia’s Beaches.
33. Surf- Catch a wave from South Africa at False Entrance.
34. Dinghy- Hire a dinghy and try explore the waters or catch a fish for dinner!
